BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2013 Administrator's Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
A publishing job defines the source and destination systems and the options that are used to publish documents between them. Publishing jobs are created from publishing job templates in Enterprise Server Configurator. A template provides specific options that depend on the type of the source or destination system. Some publishing job templates are provided with Enterprise Server and some are installed by other BlueCielo products.
Multiple publishing jobs can be created for running by the Meridian and each job can be ran either manually or as a scheduled task.
Note You must be a member of a BlueCielo group with the BC Publisher Administrators or Application Administrators permission in order to create or manage a publishing job.
To use publishing jobs to publish documents, you perform the following steps in the order listed, regardless of the job template that is used to create the job:
Related concepts
Understanding the Data Library
Related tasks
Changing the job code of a publishing job
Viewing publishing job history
Configuring email notification
Viewing the Publisher trace logs
